candle (1) gt GT

Warning! this post may contain disturbing images

Its been exactly 22years since the 1994 genocide against tutsis that claimed more than one million lives of men, women, and children of my beloved country Rwanda, today my country remembers and i feel the need to call the wordpress community and everyone else to help me remember the innocent lives that were claimed by this act of violence and inhumanity, i call everyone to remember so that the world knows that violence, genocide, killing, genocide ideologies are nothing to play with

i call the world to remember with me so that it won’t happen in another country, i call the world to raise awareness about what hateful ideology can do and that it is nothing you would wish on your worst enemy i call the world to help stop any kind of violence and genocide ideology all over the world

i have created a widget for anyone who wants to light a candle for my country and here is how to upload it to your blog .

Go to my sites –>customise–>widgets–>text–> title ( write Remember with Rwanda)–>content type this : <img class=”alignnone size-full wp-image-896″ src=”https://hushhspeaksoflty.files.wordpress.com/2016/04/candle-1-gt-gt.jpg” alt=”candle (1) gt GT” width=”1619″ height=”1005″ />

then click close, then save and publish

let me know if you have any trouble doing so!

  1. Just to let you know. I added the candle to my blog, and made it a link to your blog. Will write a page explaining the candle and it’s significance tomorrow. Thanks for allowing me to connect with you.

The only way I can process this is believing we are living in a material dream and God knows nothing of this…how could He? One day we will wake from this dream/ nightmare of matter and realise everything is actually perfect…those children are untouched and living in eternity with the Father Mother God. Those atrocities never occured in spiritual reality. Thank you so much for sharing their stories…..much love to you xxx

    1. I like to think of it that way, the greatness that comes after death for the believers, and that there is no resurrection without passion, unfortunately my country is full of people who have been deeply broken and hurt, to whom its hard to believe there is God up there that listens that loves, that is still God no matter how terrible and unjust this life is, faith is the only thing that can help people see beyond death, beyond destruction and losing everything. thank you for the love xx

It is a hard one to get your head around. I can’t even begin to imagine what your fellow country men have seen and suffered through. Here in Australia we are ( thankfully) so sheltered. The world doesn’t seem fair and unless we all begin to love one another the unrest will continue.

I’ve found the ideas in Christian Science very helpful.
Your Mum sounds a very strong woman. You should give her permission to cry sometimes…it won’t change who she is…obviously an amazing lady!
